| Been working hard at getting the farm schedule back on track. When it got hot we got hit bad by aphids. Been releasing beneficial insects and I just got an order of beneficial nematodes that I need to apply to hopefully control ants around the place. (Ants have been farming the aphids) Only problem ... |

Ryan, at the new farm, are you planning to sell food fish much? Or are they more for you and the family and the fertilizer source for the plants?
If selling food fish, which varieties and how are you selling them? (live, whole on ice, or ?processed? if so how are you getting them processed?) |

| 300 mm depth for grow beds is just a good standard depth but I've had good results with grow beds twice that deep and I know some people who have gone about 3 times that depth by filling whole IBC's with media as grow beds. With the deeper beds you don't get as much plant growing area but you do get... |

I'll do my best ccBear. I already tend to give rules of thumb for stocking like 1 fish per cubic foot of media bed growing fish out to a pound or in metric it would be 20-25 fish per 500 liters of media bed growing fish out to about 500 grams. |

| Thank you to whichever backer it was who backed me from here. It is interesting Kickstarter will show me where people were referred from (how many and how much) but they don't say which backer was from which referring site or method. I must say it is an interesting experience. Anyone with tips, tric... |

| LOL. Nope I'm not claiming to be the "complete guide" And I'm definitely more Nuts most of the time than the other descriptor :shifty: At least I try not to be the other descriptor most of the time. :? I'm hoping to be more of a quick reference type guide for those tech and engineer types ... |

Yep Ron, Good chance Polycarbonate will be used for such a trailer.
Jimbo, I was thinking a lot simpler. Like the towers hanging along the sides of the trailer (just inside) and the side can swing up as an awning at market. |

| Really, all you need is a couple of fish tanks (BIG) and bubbler, with display for your veggies. In China, all fish is delivered live from water tankers with bubblers. The fish are just scooped out from the tanks and deposited in the buyers containers, could be blue barrels or just big buckets depe... |

| When you say "greenhouse" on a trailer are you thinking a conventional looking greenhouse or something built more like a small conservatory? A hoop house or polycarbonate structure like a backyard greenhouse is going to take a beating bouncing down the road on a trailer. Check local salva... |

| Cool thanks for all the ideas and links! Trick is I need something that will protect the produce while traveling so the build scaff and canopy on site doesn't really help (I essentially had that with the old truck set up but it was too much work to pack up in the morning then drive and set up at mar... |

| Ok so I need some one who knows about trailer design to design me a mobile greenhouse that can handle having a fish tank in it that I can pull into a farmers market and swing up the awnings and people can pick their own produce off the towers and see fish in the tank. I have a sketchy idea of what i... |
