am I having a 'blonde' moment, if I make the following statement...
Wouldn't insulating the top of the fish tank (basically enclosing the tank fully) reduce significantly the amount of oxygen in the space that's left inside, and any DO exchange inside isn't going to be very effective? |

| yep i have pellets all over the bottom of the tank, they wont touch them, but i just got meal worms (live) and they are chompin on them so seems they are VERY carnivorous, if it aint wigglin they aint even lookin at it! |

| ... According to what I have heard from a South American friend, Tilapia reproduces like crazy at 38 C or 98 F, specially if the water aerated very good amount. And they grow faster than anything else. So, if you can keep your water at that temperature, Tilapia is your best choice. |
