Gday EVERYBODY!

I have a few friends who are keen on building a system with me, yet we all want to have something growing at our own place. So we're thinking that a centralised pond would make more sense?

Is this feasible?

Something like: removing a litre of water from the at-home system and then topping it up with a litre from our centralised system everyday? (or however often required)

Maybe it would have to be drip fed?

Maybe the fish juice would have to be concentrated?

Does anybody have any ideas or concerns about this?

Thanks

Huh? Do you mean only one system has fish while others come and take some water from it, then take that water home to their system which doesn't have fish?

No... Your friends should make their own systems (with fish) or put plants in the ground...

Ok to use an established system to grab some water for seeding a new system with bacteria but running a system by constantly taking water/nutrients like this? naaa.

there is no magic fish juice.... AP simply works mostly upon the nitrogen conversion from ammonia.
That is a constant thing from continuous circulation, not something that comes in 1 litre of water.
You can take crud etc out of a filter but that more a bonus than what drives the system.

You may as well just go down the hydroponics route.
which is probably well supported at Byron Bay ;-)
