Hi all,

Just wondering if my GB is cycling too slow. I have a standard 300mm depth IBC GB and currently filling at 30mins and draining at 9mins.

FYI, I'm still in the testing phase and the GB is only half filled with scoria. I'm planning to fill the rest with clay pebbles and guessing the timing would most likely reduce closer to 20-25mins fill.

TIA

Water only makes up about 30-40% of the GB volume, so when you finish filling the GB with scoria/exp clay, it will fill with water far more quickly.

Thanks.

I did some experiment and now it’s cycling faster. I increased the fill flow then started turning the second 90dg elbow that shoots straight down to the sump so that it’s shooting at a 45dg and now cycles 20min/5min.
