Here is a link to a thread about repeat cycle timers. I believe OBO just contacted Novaris to see if he would build one for him.http://backyardaquaponics.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=6077&hilit=repeat+cycle+timer

Hey OBO. Best of luck with this project. Should yield some great results.

BTW: Do you have link for the Novaris timers?

Also, plan to have any Security systems/Guard dogs? I forsee two possible issues you might have. Vandals which could effect production, etc, and contamination of the tanks/plants which again could effect production. Point being if this syetm is going to be sold to the public, you must ensure it is organic, and you cannot watch the system 24/7 so you need some way of protecting it when you are not around. Just my 2c.

Cheers!

Would make a nice place to jump the fence and go fishing.

Yup, Novaris built my timer for me :)

There will be a couple of camera's mounted on the fence around the AP, so that should cover the security problem. The yard also has extremely high fences.

Yeah, I've heard veggie thieves are rife in Kal. Must be associated with the food riots and starving millions. ;-)

Couple of dogs running around does wonders. Your cameras might only catch a few blokes with fishing rods. Just remember to run an electic fence around the system to keep the dogs out of the vegies.

Good thing about IBC's is they are too high for dogs or chooks to get onto

Wow you are busy - you just started a business doing digging for mining too didn't you? Sounds like you and I are in similar situations - I've recently gone part time to work on some side projects of my own.

When unit is powered on initially you have 10 seconds to push a button to enter setup mode.

Then its a matter of counting flashes from the led, and pressing the button at the right time to input the desired delays.
