Moved house earlier this year and now starting up again but shoit my brain has serious fade problems, I cannot remember the wording of the tube where water is removed from GB's via siphon.  I also need to find the recccomended heights of those pieces

Standpipe... Top of which should 40-50mm below the surface of the gravel. Quote: All vegies would be nicer to eat ......if they tasted like BACON Hell yeh!

I like to have a couple of inches, it seems to help with the siphon initiating, but I have made siphon kits with no drop before the elbow where there was no room. So basically a faucet elbow screwed up flush up against the underside of the GB and they've worked well. |
