I don't think Mc :rr: has gotten a tank yet. But part of his problem will be the tiny little doorways in his school. I suggested cutting a hole in the roof and lowering one through!

Ah OK Axl.... thought Mc :rr: was tied up with the Thuringowra SHS AP Project ... not so I take it.

Actually looking at the doorway in question, my first thought was that it probably wouldn't be that hard to remove and later replace the blocks and louvers....

There's always an angle grinder with masonary (or diamond) blade.

I thought that they might as well perminantly increase the door to a double door - that way things can go in and out as needed... even if AP does not last there, they would then have made it possible to take other big stuff in there as need be, so make the courtyard more versatile in the future...

Am's suggestion of installing a double door is a great solution to the problem I reckon Mc :rr:

yeh, but doesn't that require applications in triplicate to the powers that be? I recon AM will testify that the less "waves" you make the further you'll get in a school setting?

That I will, unless the waves you make in some way improve the overall usefullness of something (in this case the courtyard). I tried to get AP into a number of subject areas last year and made many 'waves'... I was shot down (and almost shut down  ) but unless you try you just dont know I guess
And I will try again!

Hi Mc,

What is the door width.......it's possible that you could use mega bins.

They are perfect for a school system.

I have no idea yet. we at the point where we actually need to hold off a bit, make sure we have a basic aquaponic system well planned and everyone agrees with. That takes time with a few teachers input im afraid. On the flip side we have students in the paper yesterday with a photo of the courtyard saying "if only" and I missed out on my picture being missed by 15 minutes... oh well...
