Your setup is a work of art and surely puts my little IBC system to shame. Love your work!

Thanks for all the nice feedback. Speaking of loch asitis :D . With the temps soon to hit 40 deg c. I decided to invest in an aerator for the deep pool. I am wrapped in the outcome. Mind you when i hit the switch it reminded me of killer whales hunting using circle of bubbles to trap fish! No monster spotted as yet

Specs:
Aerator 50w, 80l per m, 36db sound (lives in the water pump box, and is not audible above this). $150au
Diffuser: 15m rubber weeper hose in 600mm circle. Originally had it still wrapped worked 1/3 as well. $30au
Weight: 20mm bluestone paver. Free

Plan to improve the way it is attached, but the test worked well. Please no one comment on the scout rope tying. I really didn't wont to retrieve all the bits should it come undone  :-P

Btw this has visibly improved the water clarity over the weekend. Can now see an object in the bottom 2.3m, before aerator around 1.5m deep.

Completed a few of mods today. Added venturi's to the three troughs on the inflow from the pump. Consisting of an inch nipple off the gate valve, then inch down to 3/4 inch, then 3/4 back to inch. Air pipe enters as the flow is compressed.

Also finished the diffuser off, now 1m diameter with stainless steel cable to raise and lower for maintenance.

With recent heavy rain, I am sad to report that the snake died, or is sleeping. 3 x 25mm reo rod driven 1.5m down still could not hold the cantilever. Back to the drawing board.

Some visitors arrived yesterday. Not sure if duckaponics is a thing, but they are still here 25hrs later despite my dogs best efforts to move them on.

Not sure if duckaponics is a thing either. However, the eggs are fantastic. :-)

Three sources, rainfall on house and garage. Rainfall run off. There is a slight slope on the lazered block to the sediment pond and lastly the Murray river. I top up and irrigate orchids, vegys, lawn etc, so is like a giant holding tank. Cheers, Sam
