Hello everyone,
Well i am from Sydney, Australia and are in the process of setting up my own aquaponic system.
I have been doing research and research for months before i have finally spent the money and got the required ingredients. I have also saved a lot of money and time doing the research first.

I am keeping the base on the bottom as it was corroded and i have an idea how to support the weight of the GB.

I will be attempting to grow an aquaponic pineapple and raise some nice silver perch.
the 20mm scoria is ready and all the parts have turned up. I just need to put it all together.

To start you guys off with some teaser pics.

Sounds promising. Was it from a pineapple top? I have around 4 mature pineapple plants and was thinking of transplanting one into the system as it has a large root system already.

Hi there. Great looking setup. Looking forward to seeing how the pineapple does in a GB. There appears to be nothing that won't grow in AP...

Looks like a great spot for a system. It also looks like you might have room to expand a little

Yea it was from a top. Using a slip would have been better but that wasnt an option for me. From what I read they transplant well so you shouldnt have a problem.

Yea, they grow huge from what Ive seen in pictures. When mine gets too big Ill move it somewhere else. Maybe hook up a barrel or something.

I think that distinctively evil red, pimply, wrinkly look is nature's way of saying 'Don't eat me!!!!!'
