Too busy unfortunately :(

I've got to get better at either:
1) predicting how long my projects will take
2) coming up with designs/processes that take shorter time
3) having a realistic expectations of my abilities :)

Damn it. Lost a jumper today. :(

He was exactly the same length as my iPhone after a bit of sun baking.

I tightened up the gaps around my temporary lid. Pissed off with myself for not fortifying it better in the first place.

Got distracted last time and left all my test/chemicals in the test tubes. Been about a week. Do you think this will be a prob with future tests? Is rinsing not enough after this mistake?

Its not good practice but they will be ok, I use a pipe cleaner and bucket of warm water to help clean the inside of them.

The glass of the test tubes is supposed to be inert, so no long-term effects. Just do as Charlie suggests and wash them out well with a bottle brush and rinse thoroughly. Don't forget to do the same with the lids! It's good practice to rinse them out several times with distilled water before taking a water sample, and fill and empty with the test water several times before taking the actual sample.

Thanks.

I usually rinse them before and after every use, but don't go as far as using distiller water
