Not bad Bender, a little muddy perhaps, but the portuguese dish was good

Not quite worthy of its own thread, but I thought I'd post a couple of pics of my aquarium. I would guess it's been up and running for about 4 years or so...

Weeeeeeel I wasn't going to leave the sweet tater in my GB, I was just going to let it grow a bit so I could take some more cuttings off it..... Buuuuuuut..... holy snappin duck drops it's growing so well I can't bring myself to pull it out.

Cuttings from the same batch (thanks Faye) which are in the dirt garden are alive and about 400mm long, while the one in the AP now has 3 runners over 1000mm!! So for better or worse I'm just going to let it go :worm:

Hehe you might be sorry. When you start to wonder where your leak is, or when you have to dig out the bed of roots in 12 months. But yeah, hard to take it out when it looks good and does so well.

No doubt I will live to regret it, but luckily it will be confined to just one GB so only 1 sq m of digging....

Ah Gazza, you have a ladybird deficit. Lacewing larvae will also feast upon your aphids, be patient and wait for them to come

Thanks Faye! The ladybirds have definitely been busy, and removing those couple of plants has pretty much sorted the problem.

I wasn't really planning on planting parsnips in my AP, I just had a handful of seeds left when I sowed in the dirt and thought I'd just chuck them in the GB. Naturally, every one sprouted.

Sooooo much Basil - loving pesto right now!

Spring onions - great value, they just keep growing back.
