I figured I would be running out of fish tanks soon with all these fry, and only having 4 grow beds. So I am going to try a green water tank. Most of the fry will end up in this pool before long, as soon as the algae starts to bloom.

And I didn't have another air pump, so I drilled a hole in this pump at the impeller and pushed a air line in the hole. This is a very cheap water pump, and it is sucking the air down almost 3 feet. The flow is actually better than in this pic, in this pic the air line was very long, about 15 feet, so I cut it down to where it just hangs over the side of the pool.

Be careful with pools helomech, most of the more expensive ones have algaecide in the liner (pevents the growth of algae), some algeacides are not safe for fish so you may need to contact the supplier to check on which type they have used.

A friend uses a similar one, but not the exact model.

Charlie, you're starting to confuse me with this avatar-of-the-week program you're on lately. But, I do like pretty pictures, so keep it up! Confused is fun sometimes.

Some updated pics of my grow beds. Can't wait till my grow beds are in their permanent postion. This is only 4 grow beds, I am going to have at least 35 of these when my system is finished.

There's definitely something to be said for AP when looking at nicely grown squash plants in growbeds vs the cursed vine borers killing the dirt grown squash plants.

Earlier in the year, 8 dirt grown plants have died, one squash harvested. :-x
Just lately, 2 plants in AP have blossoms, so I'm socking the food to the fish in hopes of a decent harvest.

At least 35 IBC growbeds? Hit the stores for some canning jars and freezer bags dude.

The growth has taken off in the last couple weeks. My system is about 5 months old so I guess everything is starting to work.

Yeah, at least 35. The space for grow beds is 30 feet wide by 70 or 80 feet long (not sure yet). So 4 rows 60 or 70 feet long and that gives me plenty space for a wheel barrow to fit between the rows.

LMAO, hoping to sell some, at least enough to write off expense on taxes. We also have lots of animals, so we want plenty of food to feed them. Would be nice to not have to buy much chicken, goose, turkey, duck, and rabbit, and monkey food. Also putting some back into the tilapia would be nice.

Monkey food? I'm sure SuperVeg will be happy about that, judging by his avatar!
