Some of them about 7 inches long now, after 14 weeks of feeding them. Possibly in about 4 more weeks I be able to enjoy some of them.

After experimenting with few lights, the T8s are helping better than other. Of course I am not including any expensive high consuming light sets. we enjoyed some of the lettuce and they tasted good.

The feeder is doing it's job so far. According to the book, 4 C batteries should last 6 months. If that happens, I will be very happy. It can be programmed for three feeding times and the amount of food for each time can be different. Very easy to program and use.

I use 4 different fish food sizes in there all mixed together. The smallest one is about 1 mm in diameter, and it is getting discharged with others. The biggest one is about 5 mm in diameter.

5 months old Tilapia. There are few of them over 7 inches. I am hoping to see them reproduce in a couple of months!

Nice Zubin. I like the look of that feeder. I need to get a feeder too, Mrs SV cannot be programmed very accurately for a day feed :laughing3:

Yes, that feeder is really nice to have.
I took off to Missouri last week to pick up a grain bin. if it was not because of this feeder, I would have had to pay some one to come and feed the fish for me for 5 days. So, it actually paid for itself!
Check my new grain bin. It hold 3.9 tons of corn.

Hi Brian,

I heat the house with two corn stoves, also I have a corn grill for grilling BBQs. I used to have wood stoves, but I am too old to split the oak, stack them, then continuously take them in and then clean the ashes out. Corn stove has been a blessing and I still get to sit by the beautiful flame and enjoy my drinks.
And the corn Grill has been amazing. You can not believe how good the food is tasting now. Best money spent on grills so far.
And yes, some will be for deer too.

I did enjoy my hunting days in beautiful state of Georgia. I was stationed there 3 different times during my service.

Very nice, I like the water circulation and bubbles. What is your water temp, if it is warm enough they should be breeding already at that size. They could be having babies already, if they had babies is there somewhere for them to go? I ended up with them overflowing into the sump many times, didn't even try to breed them they just knew how to do it.

I have build a place for fingerlings, if there be any, as of now, I have not seen any. I have not started eating them and waiting to see babies first. I believe the biggest are the males. Maybe after Thanks Giving we fry few of them.

The water temp as of this morning was 70.8F. It has been getting cool the last couple of weeks, I have seen 34 on my outside thermometer. This morning was 38F.

I got one 800 watt heater inside the tank. I have to see how it goes, maybe I have to get another one.
