What brand iron chelate are you using, Im struggling to find some.

Charlie it came from S.A.
I rang the guy gave him my credit card details and it was delivered in 2-3 days and he looked after me with a reduction on the postage. (Great to deal with)

Looking good Joe but my mild dyslexia has trouble with your nic :D

Yates make chelated iron Charlie so should be available nearly anywhere

Mantis, both Yates & Bunning's Chelated Iron are EDTA and are both useless in aquaponics, the guy from Yates selling their Chelated Iron on eBay was unaware there was any difference when I asked what type of Chelate their product was.

Here's the difference:

Mantis the only reason I came across it is because after using the Bunning's product for a few months and things weren't getting any better in fact the plants were going further downhill, so I started researching as to what was going on.

What surprised me more than anything was that the Yates Guy didn't know there was different types of Chelated Iron and he's selling the stuff.

Mantis that "Manutec" sticker has just been stuck on the box so possibly Manutec just import the EDDHA from Spain and their own product is the EDTA.

If you only need a small quantity that Guy in S.A. posts a 100gram bag anywhere in Australia for $9.90 AUD.

Ive been using the yates EDTA for a couple of years now and Ive never seen any iron deficiencies. :dontknow:

After watching the vid about it being toxic I thought it may be better to switch. Since I stopped using the Yates brand I have seen yellowing of the leaves on the Kahl Rabi so it must have been doing something.

I would like to get the edhha stuff as our soil ph is 7-8 so I could use it there as well. I suspect it is one of the reasons our citrus trees take so long to get going

Just an update on the system, I bought an Emergency First Aid Station from an online auction to house the 12 volt backup system I'm building and the 240 volt air pump.
