I have not done much. There has been water in the IBC for the last few weeks. May try a few goldfish in that while I wait on getting a hand with a few other things for this. I'm still looking for a cheap 30 gallon barrel for the RFF most I'm finding are same price as the 55 gallon ones.

That's what I was thinking. No film on sides just green water. I will give lvls a check to see what rain and sunlight has done to the tank.

Bulkheads are getting ordered today should have them mid week. I know I talked about these months ago, but finally ordering.

Tracking shows Monday delivery. They are sending USPS priority :D

I also got a IP camera in the mail today. Going to try for remote monitoring and spying on those that cut through my yard.

Went to Menards and got 2"fittings. Still planning to do the dual SLO to to the RFF.

I got two of these thinking they would work for the screens.

Figured that I could always put holes in the sides to help also.

And just for the hells of it here are the levels right now with no fish and no grow beds, but lots of algae.

Bulkheads did come in on Monday. Put 2 in yesterday and may work on the SLO tonight if I can and have water just dump to the sump for now until I can find those elusive cheap 30 gallon barrels.

Still wanting to put that barrel another 12 inches deeper. Right now about half buried and wanting about 6-8 inches above ground.

Putting in the bulk head i think either my dad or I drilled either higher or lower than the other one.

one is lower by a 1/16 to 1/8 inch and messing with adding water and seeing how the SLO would work I notice one had a small stream for almost 10 minutes coming out. This may not be a problem at all but more of a annoyance right now.

Maybe? I used a dry erase marker for marking, but I found out that it pretty much turns invisible after a few hours when used on HDPE. Hard to tell who messed up drilling their hole.

I can tell I'm out of shape. Sweating my ass off just being outside desiding on what to do with the system. 86*f feeling like 94*f with 75% humidity. Rained yesterday and today for several hours. Killed time to work on things and raised the humidity more. :(

The 55g sump is dug and now working on the RFF. Hope to have that done and plumbed tomorrow. Dad found a free 30g barrel for the RFF. Carwash chemicals, NFPA red 2 blue 1 yellow 0 (clear coat rinse)

The way I made my platform for the RFF I can come through the bottom of the 30gallon barrel. I understand the RFF is usually sitting on its bottom and you have the inlet go through the side, but will going through the bottom cause any problems? Maybe a bit more of a pain to clean.

I was wanting to go fairly compact with the fish tank and the RFF.

Decided after all to come in through the bottom. Nothing glued but works fine.

Need a new pump. The one I'm using is slightly dangerous. There has to be a nic in the wire or where it connects to the pump itself. Righ hand and arm is still slightly numb after a few hours.

Rob get that pump checked out by a qualified electrician or throw it away, it's not worth the risk, power and water don't mix, the next it might do a bit more than hurt your arm.

You have both done a really neat job there. I agree with the pump but I remember reading on the forum somewhere that tickles from the water or pump could also be an earthing issue of the home electrical system? Someone more skilled in this area might chime in.
