That trout is beautiful! All of your trout are beautiful!

I like your method of running the pumps at night to cool things down. It's kind of the reverse of what one might do in a very cold climate.

I don't know if anyone in my area has successfully raised trout. We do have several hatcheries around, but I think they use constantly flowing river/ creek water which I believe helps keep things cooler. And obviously the environment is more controlled.

The times I've seen fingerlings available seem to be the wrong timing for getting them into the system....

It's a tempting challenge..... but I am currently facing plenty of others that I need to focus on!

We are currently having Perfect trout weather! about 10 C (49 F) right now....

Yes things are pretty challenging over ther right now Will! If you could get some advanced trout fingerlings in October you should be able to get them to a good size by April or May, before it gets too warm. I can only get them to a large size by using the water chiller to get them over summer.
