Yea, yea Nocky, that sounds like an excuse to exercise the elbow. The flexible hose should be OK.

Sweet!

The pemby trout hatchery are running a mini - non - official trial of the pygmy's, just to see what they do.

Slight drama, about half full and some drips out of one of the bungs where brass fitting is, any easy fix or empty? I did silastic around them on the inside and retighted the hose clamps

I usually silicone any external leaks. Even when wet the silicone will sort of stick, sometimes takes a few days to get the leak stopped though. Beats emtying a whole tank, or digging gravel out of a growbed.

A lesson in buying tanks
Well was going to buy BYAP tanks but freight would of killed me, so got similar to EB's delivered at a simalar price to what BYAP's are undelivered, these have 4 hooks for lifting molded in them, all 8 of mine leak and am now trying to get somewhere with supplier, but doesn't fix the problem now  The lesson............pay the extra $$$$ for quality

Tank Supplier is going to fully weld holes and give a small refund for inconvenience, apparently sacked the guy that was removing tanks from molds as he was over drilling holes, but still I would buy my tanks from BYAP and swallow the freight or they do fit on a on dual axle trailer.
And before you post rick :) there is only 6 holes, as mentioned rick had a similar problem and supplier is also going to repair his as well, so a happy ending, but shop BYAP :P

 ... that's a bummer Nocky....

But "kudos" to the tank supplier for their customer service .... and preparedness to satisfy their customer(s)... a rare trait in business these days... sadly....

There are three types of people in this world Nocky.

One is, those that can count, and the other is, those who cannot count!!

Perhaps I had better thank you for fixing my hole! The sikaflex that I used has stuck and is holding water, but its not the correct compound as you can peel it off. In the long run, a bolt unless it is stainless would corrode and may cause the plastic to expand and fracture again, so a weld would be a good thing.

That is the short term fix OBO, but when you pay good money for something you want it right, supplier hasn't a problem in fixing, the reseller has sold around 5 tanks and supplier is going to weld them all, I am the only one in town, all others are 20 - 30 k's out in different directions, so he will have a bit of travelling, only mine and Rick's have leaked as far as we know, but reseller is going to get supplier to weld the all just in case, so again a happy ending and supplier has removed the cause of the problem :D
