Got some zip grow towers to try out on this system. Got them plumbed up and running and have strawbs in three and lettuce in the other. More work for the four remaining murray cod in the fish tank who already run 7 growbeds totalling 900L :D

I remember the bright agrotech put out a vid saying they were available here. I don't remember them being cheap though.

What are they like in the flesh?

Not cheap but I just wanted to try them out. They are well made and reasonably easy to set up.

Moved the four Murray Cod from the greenhouse system to the 1000L sump of my big system Then one sweep with the net in the babies tank got 3 trout , 2 small silvers and 1 catfish to go in the greenhouse. Should get some better growth in the greenhouse with more active fish I hope
The smallest cod had a couple of bite marks on him so he will be dinner tonight

How many did you start out with in the beginning? And how old are they to get to that size?

Sorry for the questions, I'm just curious about how long it'll take mine to get to that size. They are still weenie.

Its a large net with soft plastic webbing so very easy on the fish
Got these as tiny fry in Nov 2011. Lost a lot at the start as they were so tiny. 9 went into the greenhouse system a year or so ago and today I pulled out 4 and the big fella (not pictured) would be about a kilo. I havent pushed them at all feed wise.

Plants are running off 3 trout and one small catfish and are pumping along. I think in about two weeks I will harvest these trout and put the Jades from the aquarium in this tank, then things will just go nuts.
Will get some pics in a day or two
