Are the cams cable tieds to the valve the ones that block off certain ports?

They force the rotating stem to skip ports, to be precise. All but the active port are blocked, when the valve is pressurized.
But yes those are cams.

So many one-liners so little time :laughing3: I plan to be eventually, but it's very handy for a start until I work out bed volumes and what beds will be linked etc etc :)

What I really like is the conical tank bottom with the central drain, if I could find 5 more of them I'd be a happy boy and pass on the other growbeds I have

Started cutting up my IBC's last night and figuring out how I want to place them, I think I'll do 4 like netab32's and the rest (4) like OBO's.
The reasoning for the first four is to be able to place the next seasons fingerlings beneath the growbeds whilst waiting for the previous seasons to grow out and also to be able to place those Black Filters in if I need extra filtration at any stage.
The other Conical bed needs some more bracing and some framework as I'm thinking of placing the coloured slim line tanks around its edge so they drain into the cone.

Pictures tonight hopefully :D

if you lack on filtratiuon you could always fill one of the fingerling tanks up with plastic junk/ scrubber pads/ rope etc and make a biofilter out of it :)
