Sorry to disappoint but it wont be an AP House.

Design has already been drawn up, engineering and energy rating has been done - just waiting to get it all back so I can obtain council approval to build it (once the crop of barley has been harvested).

Hey arbe just caught up on your thread. Congrats on the move. Dowerin is a special place. I miss the salmon gums having lived in Nungarin and merredin for a while. Any updates on the house or AP system? You're probably doing circles in the paddock at the moment after the rain last week

Ben,

Sorry I missed your post.

We have approval for building and so far have the slab down. I pick up all my external doors and timber to build windows and door frames this weekend.

All the form work for the rammed earth walls have been built. I'm now waiting for the weather to cool off a bit before we start.

Re the circles in the paddock. I think that will be why I missed your post. We would have started seeding around that time. Fortunately I don't do circles - I have a GPS tractor.

Thanks for the update Arbe. Sounds like things are slowly coming together with the house. All the best hope it goes well
