When are Barra big enough to eat? At a guess larger ones have to be between 20-25cm, is this big enough to eat? Never having eaten Barra before are they really bony, if I just cooked them on the barbie could I get some nice bone free chunks for the kids?? :dontknow:

Must have missed this one Wickham. If the fish are not all that big it is possibly a good idea to cook whole and peel the flesh off the bone rather than trying to get fillets and losing out on some of the flesh. I would add garlic, butter and parsley and cook in foil on the barbecue, yum.
