I thought it may be a good idea to post links to sites that are region / climate specific that would tell you when to plant whatever AP friendly flower , fruit or vegetable as a useful reference

For example .. most beans and peas , brocolli , are good to plant in Perth right now. But forget tomatoes, cucumber and zuchinni until it gets a little warmer.

I sometimes get a little confused as to what to have a go at planting from seedlings or seed and when to plant them. (Often you can buy seedings in the local garden centres at this time of year that stand little chance of survival once planted out.)

I guess the best way to do this might to post a message as such:-

Planting calendars

Perth Australia link: www.etc.etc.etc.com.au

Austin Texas link: www. etc.etc.etc.com

Sheffield England link: www.steelwerksarea.co.uk

OK I will start the list

Victoria Australia
http://www.betterhealth.vic.gov.au/bhcv ... endar?open

Queensland Australia
http://www.annettemcfarlane.com.au/calendar.htm

Central Australia - (several climate zones) (Flowers)

http://www.nt.gov.au/dpifm/Primary_Indu ... _austr.pdf

London and regions in UK
http://www.nickys-nursery.co.uk/seeds/p ... .htm#April

I think this woud be useful to many of us from various parts of the world as a quick reference.

J7a, any specific link for perth planting, apart from the above.
my capsicums, which have had very little succes since planting in november last year have only just started to perform. just like week a flower turned into a 50c piece sized cap. I guess these really aren't going to ripen but the growth was amazing.
