Hey guys, what are these critters in yellow? I'm assuming some type of aphid. They are all over my rapidly, consumed zucchinni leaves. I also have silk worms all over my plants, you can see them picture too! They've already killed 3 zucchinni and cucumber plants!

What's a AP safe home-made pest control spray? I read soap, garlic, and red pepper? Can anyone confirm this and the amounts to use? Will soap affect the fish?

Are you human?: I hope so

They are aphids.
I find squashing them with my fingers both satisfying and give the predators a chance to catch up and get on top of them

There are FARRR to many to squish. Any other recommendations as far as a spray? I have molasses and MaxiCrop on hand. Would those deter them?

Found these in my media and on some roots of some oats I am growing. Can any one identify them?

A bit of googling says they could be slug eggs.

I agree, I believe them to be slug eggs. I have found them laid in clusters under the media.

Do you like caviar Charlie? Should I ship them to you?

Guess I better fish out as many as I can from the media.

I have been getting lots of slugs hiding in my standpipe media guard. Makes it convenient to get rid of them :)

I think this is likely not a good bug to have, but I thought I would double check. I found many on my dill. They do have a silk web that makes them hard to pull off. I don't want to chuck all of them into the fish tank if they are actually beneficial. It is all black except for a yellow stripe about 3/5ths back.

hard to tell, but a guess would be some kind of beetle larvae if it's not a caterpillar
i did see some weird colors of ladybug larvae though, some had yellowish stripes, and they loved the dill
