Hey, I was hoping to start growing mint in my system but lots of people talk about it taking over the grow bed. Could I somehow biuld a divider that goes into the media to keep roots out while letting water pass through? does anyone have any suggestions on design and materials to use in this type of experiment? Thanks! |

Hi, You can use grow bags inside your media filled bed (like RootPouch or similar product). It works very well. Mint doesn't spread out and can stay there for at least a year (after that time the roots get overcrowded and you need to empty/clean the bag). |
