Hi, I am commencing work expierience and i will arrange an order of marron for our system and if anyone else is interested.

At the moment i will be ordering 50, this can increase depending on what others need. As for the price i need to work it out with the clients (see how much they want to sell them at) though he did mention $1-2 for small ones and size will vary.

Just let me know if your intersted and how many you are after :D

Thanks

Nic

Hmm the electrics, we did get some last time (not sure if TimC posted picks). Can't say for sure if we can but ill check for you. Btw yes marrons do come in ellectric blue, normal EB yabbies are very dull and are small.

I am putting in the order either tommorow or the next day let me know if anyone wants some, all you Perth people who where asking me for them before speak up now.

Thanks

Nic

Change of plans everyone!

I was going to get marron but ended up with yabbies. They are various sizes 5-6-7cm both males and females. $1.50 each 200 of them to go, they will breed in September.

Yabbies are tougher than marron, breed easier and grow faster, not to mention cheaper. Great for cleaning the bottom of AP systems :D

Nic ... Gozzie markets sell live electric blue yabbies.... We bred over 150 last year from one pair...

Also you can grab as many of the wild yabbie as you like from the canning river ... operahouse traps are only 10 bucks.

Nic

Yabbies are heaps more aggressive and will kill each other for territory as well, 2600lt tank maybe 30 yabbies tops, need plenty of hides as well
Marron do coming in a magnificent blue, a mate has some coming at $27-50 a kilo, don't know where from or how many to a kilo, yet anyway will know next week when they arrive, I am going to get a male and 3 females hopefully, would like 2 males and some females, I would then have to dispose of my big male (1 mouthful at a time) and just run with the brown and blue females plus 2 male blues, they will produce blues only anyhow I am told

how small an order will you accept Nic ?

delivering south of the river ?

is 6 too few to waste your time with ?

if not ...
gimmie 2 males & 4 females .
I dont eat marron or yabbies , but my partner certainly does , maybe she'll look after em for herself & they'd be a good way to get rid of trout heads and guts ....
