A fully-functional system will produce at least four salads a day and about a fish-a-week, Cox said. The 200-gallon fish tank can fit between 30 and 50 fish, which take about nine months to mature from fingernail-sized to 1 pound.

Can you eat Dieffenbachias?

I don't think I would recommend it

Some dude called Gab, apparently from the US, just popped up on a forum I moderate with a bit of a meaningless post with bad spelling (not uncommon on forums! ;) ). I approved it for the time being until I checked things out further, and about half an hour later I noticed he had added a sig file including this link:

http:// diyaquaponicstips . com ... no doubt added to improve his google rankings

The site has a glowing review of AP4U, not that I bothered reading more than a few lines.

The moderation stick was waved, and he isn't a member of that forum any more!

This hydro shop (aka Grow Shop) is selling 'proffessional aquaponic systems' which is great for backyard OR commercial applications. But dont worry, they are an experienced aquaponic consultancy.

hmmm, looks like a pretty simple IBC system to me.

This link was sent to me last night, no approval requested or given from either parties for the video. Any good requesting they take it down?

I think that once you put the video on youtube, it can be linked to from anyone that wants to.

If it were on your or RobRobs site only and not on youtube, you could claim copyright, but I think you would have an uphill battle asking them not to link to you.

You can always ask, but I suspect I know the answer.

I would consider it flattery personally, but if you want to know where all your youtube videos are linked, you can go to http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/hack-find- ... be-videos/

You may find that there are more than you thought.

Easy fix.

Youtube has a setting that disallows videos from being embedded on external websites.

The youtube box will still be there, but it'll have a link back to your youtube page, and they can't play it on their website.

Or just monetize it, and let the $0.01 flow in.

It's handy knowing who links.

I have been linked by Texasaquaponics, I had no idea...

And apparently the most traffic has been through Reddit. I thought BYAP would have beaten it.

Nice collection of watchable videos on AP.

You must admit, the IBC of aquaponics is the defacto world standard for DIY!

Do youtube pay out for videos streamed off site?
if so, monetize your videos, make sure you add something at the start/end to clearly state who made it so no one can claim it as their own (watermark would be better)..... and let people steal it for their sites, people who watch it will clearly see they stole it and you will (may) get a tiny bit of money for it one day.

Yet another one of these dodgy e-manual sellers... http://www.foodforfreedom.info

Food for freedom?? Bit rich, they are selling a program about how to make a little aquarium system that will save you money and feed your family... Only $27 for the manual, thats 85% off..! I would have copied some of the guff from the site but they have fixed it so you can't copy and past from it..

Some poor bloke paid $37 for their thing in December and never received it, he's mistakenly written to me asking where it is...
