Looks like we're locked in for November the 17th, that's about 3 weeks away. Anyone interested who hasn't let me know please post here or PM me and I'll send you more details at a later date.

I'll be there, with my partner (who paid the bills so I guess she counts as an AP)

After being infected with the 'Monya' strain of the AP disease, I just have to be there with my wife.
Monya showed us around Steem's system yesterday so we are now enthused to move to a much larger system than the current old wash trough GB and inground fish pond.
We look foward to meeting King Erik and all the other AP croweaters on the 17th.

Just a reminder to all, only a week to go until the Great Adelaide BYAP get-together, Saturday the 17th between 1:30-4:00. If there is anyone else interested, please PM me to get my address. I couldn't get the guys from Aquaculture-Advantage to come along this time, but I've got Colin from Apolo Energy who will answer all of your questions about solar power provided you answer all of his questions about AP. Please bring your water test kits so I can finally test my dipsticks to see how inaccurate they really are. Also bring your swimming gear if its warm, and some food/nibbles/drinks etc (but please, no alcohol). Remember kids are allowed but parents must remain responsible for their kids at all times around the pool.
Looking forward to seeing everyone there.

KE,
Many thanks for hosting today's get together.
Great to put faces to names and to see a real live AP system in action.
I picked up lots of good points from the various discussions.
I'm now all the more keen, to get my system operational.

Cheers
Scott

Only 2, I was planning to take heaps but I was too busy talking. I think Peter took a couple as well. I think we all stood in a line along the wall for near on 2 hours talking while the kids played in the pool. Had a great and informative time comparing notes about each-others setups and plans. Most got to talk to Colin (a non-forum member) about solar power, and he's got big plans for my system if only I could afford it. Had a birthday cake for Monya. Did a water test to compare the Master Test Kit with my cheepo strips (will discuss the results elsewhere). Could have kept talking for hours ...
Had a great time, thanks to everyone for coming. :D

Thanks to King Eric and family for a great day.
