Purchase 6 little ones tonight and will be attempting to get one going in my vacant dedicated grow bed. The other 5 or so Ill be potting till I decide what to do. I dated a girl from Cameroon that used to talk about this tree and its leaves. I glanced over this forum many times and never noticed this thread. Ive always been intrigued about it so now I hope to eventually know.

I have four or five 6ft. trees growing in pots that I keep in the greenhouse. Someone gave them to me as a gift, but I didn't realize how special they are! Time to take special care of them!

My trees in the ground about hip high
It struggles during the dry but likes the wet season.
I have it in very poor soil on the edge of a slope so it doesnt get much moisture unless its regularly raining.
Im hoping to takes some cuttings when it gets fat enough.
They do well from cuttings.
I want to have a fair few of them as nitrogen fixers mulch makers and some food for now and back up food to feed some chooks or something else later

So weird that this has just been bumped after so long...

The Body Shop has a Moringa range that I'd never heard of, since I don't really buy that kinda stuff now that I mostly make my own, but my sister in law gave me a gift pack for Christmas. It smells great!

I have always loved the scent, ever since I was a flower girl at a wedding approximately a hundred years ago and my aunty gave me a pretty little purse that smelled of moringa. Every time I've smelled it since it reminds me of that day, but I never knew what it was called until literally two weeks ago when my SIL gave me that gift pack.

So now for the last week I've been desperately googling to see how I can get hold of some moringa essential oil and learning how versatile it is. Sounds like I should go and buy myself a tree!!

i have 1 moringa in my backyard, bought it less then 2 years ego when it was last then a feet long and now it's about 18 feet long!

from what i read about it in the internet the roots dislike being to wet and might rot if water is not drained.

if it's true, how can it be grown in ap systems?
