It was dead still up here last night. Really humid as well. Was barely a ripple on the fire pond at work. It would have been a nice to throw a line in with a coldie.

When i was in high school we used to canoe in guildford between the train line and lilac. Was always dead fish there. Swan trust was always asking us if/where we saw dead ones.

Also canoed near midland brick in middle swan where that picnic area is on roe hwy.

Oh and a tip dont EVER stop there at night!!! Had a faulty headlight once and stopped there to check it out. Noticed a heap of cars near the toilet block there and some dirty old man tried to hit on me lol. Lucky i had a bird with a bub in the car . Have noticed since it seems to be a hang out for em.

We also had needles, dumped pups and a dead body there in my years at school!

So we ended up chucking the Kayaks in at Garvey park in Ascot, was a nice spot, good facilities, cranked the barbie. There was a fishing comp on too, mostly for Bream i think - looked like people were catching a few...

Did you notice any packs of Sayo biscuits? Sounds like a Guildford Grammar reunion :)
