I find with Beers that I like to change my 'regular' beer over time. I might stay with one regular beer for a few boxes or a few years, but regardless I do enjoy trying out the ever expanding range on offer at the local bottl'o.
Anyway, I thought I might share a pleasant little surprise I stumbled across recently...
I find 'cleanskins' a bit hit and miss, but this is definately a hit, well to my humble palette anyway...

Green Beer- a premium imported beer, and the added bonus- it's about the cheapest box in the store @ $34- @ my local....

I've had some amazing shine in my day. Favorite is apple pie shine. But, never tried home distilled Scotch.

This one is for the ladies.

Hibiscus flowers preserved in syrup and added to Cava or Prosecco.
Very pretty!

Hi
This is a shot of The Barge Inn in Honey Street. It is on the Kennet and Avon canal in Wiltshire, UK.
Used as the back drop for many movies and TV series it featured in the detective series Morse. ( The Canal Murders.) It is one hours cruising from my home mooring . About three miles. We use it a lot. Wiltshire is crop circle land and the Barge Inn is crop circle central.
They are twinned with Roswell. I believe that is somewhere in New Mexico.
They sell, “Green ( alien) beer” and “Orange”(radioactive) cider.
Trust me. Don’t drink it!
Try 6X or Old Peculiar.
If you are really lucky try the sloe gin from some of the barge men

I made a great mistake whilst touring NZ earlier this year.

I said, lets go and do the brewery tour (montieths) when in greymouth.

The tour itself is pretty lame really, but we all got to pour a pony from the tap, and drink it, then head over to the bar and try three samples (ponies).

I had thought that the missus would not like the beer, and pass them to me, and maybe have a cider or two. Well, she likes the amber stuff doesn't she.

American Pale Ale was what we were able to pour. What a pleasant drop. She now loves Pale Ales, and makes me go to the local and pick up a six pack most weeks. It was a limited release and we never found it in Bottle shops around NZ, but there were plenty of other choices.

We also tried most of their other drops over the course of the 4 weeks we were over there, especially their limited release stuff. Unfortunately I haven't found any of them in Bunbury, but will have a poke around Perth next time I am up there.
