Why would you build a house on a cliff, and not have an almighty big window so you could take advantage of the view?

They could be like me and afraid of heights. I wouldn't want to look out a window up there - I hate floor to glass windows on high rise buildings - anything from level 2 up freaks me out.

because it is a mountain hut not somebody's house , and all the building material had to be carted up the side of the mountain. Glass is too heavy and fragile for that

Along side Cooper Creek, north of Ballera. Low water levels, rising temps and over population. Gives you an idea how destructive yabbies could be if left unmanaged.

There was people there loading them into eskies with shovels, general size was about the size of a red bull can.

Interesting Geology out there. Is it flood plain or something?

I think those 3 shadow photos in the middle are faked. The balls in the first one give us where the light is but the crouching guy has no body shadow. The fingers don't match the teats and the hand above the head doesn't account for the horns/ears in the shadow.

Similarly in the 2nd, the girls legs give us the light source but then there are problems with the guys' body shadows - for example, which part of the stnading guy makes the curved hands of the monkey?

The 3rd one has similar issues - look at the standing guy and follow his shadow, then work out how the girl can be providing the chin rest so far from him - has to be multiple light sources but there is only one going by the shadows.

The pile of rubbish one is interesting but there are light issues there as well - look at the front of the pile - there are multiple objects sticking out towards the camera showing shadows of a light source above and to the left of the pile. Might not change things on the rear wall if the spot is bright enough but puzzling... If the spot was bright enough why are we seeing such definite shadows in the front?

I have seen a display like this in a gallery/meuseum in Montreal (I think it was). Its meant to be a bit of fun where you pretend to make the shadows. Its a bit like the guy who does the chalk drawings on the footpaths. Fun all the same. I wish I was that creative.
