Distorted crunchy Fender telecaster guitar power chords through a Valve amp and speaker big enough and loud enough so you can 'feel' it.

The shhhh when you crack a stubie..

The beeping of my metal detector..

Took the young ones to see Iron Man3 on the wekend. The look on the youngests face when they were told, and then the thanks afterwards. Wish I could bottle that!

Ohhh, a Ducati went past this morning. Can I please have one. Everyday I look at the photo on my wall that I took of my brand spanking GSXR750 up in Kangaroo Valley some moons ago, but I still love the sound of a Duke over mine.

The sound of washing up beinig put away, and no ones been asked. No your dreaming now, that would never happen!

The boof noise of feeding barramundi...

Also the noise of rain on the roof, especially after 6 month without... Not so much when the wet season is already on since 3 month...

When somebody at work says 'it's Friday' ... :-)

The sounds of multiple bell syphons sucking air at varying stages and random frequencies.

The sounds of a cane toad when belted with a solid object.

A big V twin motor cycle going up a mountain range.

WD has just had a cochlea implant as he has been profoundly deaf for many years hence me being his Other Half!
He is now starting to hear noises that he has not heard for many years and is slowly starting to "translate" the different new sounds !
Its quite an exciting time as before he could not hear the noise of the water in the Ft`s or the aerators which used to drive me mad.
We have been very lucky that he was offered this help and all done on the National Health into which he had paid for more years that he wishes to remember !
Hopefully soon he will be able to talk and hear on the telephone which he has not been able to do for many years.
We who have good hearing do not realise just how lucky we are !!

OH
