The real game is on tonight Rupe :headbang: , You had better duck down the local shop and pick up a fresh box of tissues before they all sell out.

On the way home do yourself a favour and grab a carton of XXXX, it will take the sting out of it all for you.

heres a cross section of the NSW fans after the game

   :upset: :blackeye: :?: :-x :?

I thought I was nervous before the last game...
Confident enough, but just a wee bit nervous...

I was just thinking about droughts and stuff, and thought about my cousins little boy. He wondered what rain was when he saw it the first time when he was three.

Well, there is a whole generation of kids who have never seen NSW win an Origin. Also a generation of footy players that have never been in a losing team!!

Yay go QLD. NSW can't even win with the ref giving dodgy calls all the way. Loved NSW: if there were a few QLDers in the tackle, and they wouldn't let go, they drop the ball and get a penalty.

I need to get equalised. I havespent the week setting up a linear program to model our plant, and my brain is completly fried. I got home last night after dropping the programmer off and sat like a stunned mullet infront of the TV and watched QLD do the biz on NSW, with no beer in hand. I think I might get the shakes. Am I ill? Right now I feel like I need a dark ale, out on the patio, in the sun. Nup, got to run another test in the plant. Maybe in a few hours....

here it comes again all right :headbang:

I just got tickets today to take a few customers along to Game 1

only 15 sleeps to go

I am going to have to do some fancy talking though, Ive already promised the missus a few days away for her birthday starting on that Wednesday. Now I'm going to have to push that back another day and change our booking. This is going to cost me.

BF,

I got in the good books a few years ago by taking the missus to Melbourne and watching the game.

She then went to the shops and spent shit loads while I did some sight seeing and beer drinking.

Blind Freddie, I feel that marital bliss is vital for any relationship.
So I'll step up and take a bullet for you, take those hot little tickets off your hands and solve the dilemma.
Or I could be a client?
Maybe you'd like to adopt me?
Or, or... blast it. Enjoy the game mate! I'm sure the missus will understand. It IS State of Origin after all, not something as trivial as a grand final or anything like that.
Still trying to find a meme I saw a few weeks ago to share on here. Especially since NSWelshmen are being all quiet and stuff.
Be buggered if I know why? :dontknow:

Wise word from the doctor indeed

I have a change of plans and am now going to game 3 instead (corporate box full of yobbo's) :headbang:

And taking the little woman away for a few days for her birthday. Hope to be watching game #1 on a big
screen somewhere at Noosa tomorrow night
