so i have been told 1 ppt, and 2 ppt,

so i assume 1ppm @ 4.lbs if i want to play it safe? ok, is there a way to convert .lbs to cups/gallons etc, or so i just break out my bathroom scale :laughing3:

To be reasonably accurate, use the scales, as the density may depend a bit on how coarse the grains are... ie you will be getting an unknown amount of air included in your volume measurements. Also, keep it dry, salt is hydrophilic.

today i added more media as my GB werte obnly half full, and instead of lava rock i used pea gravel. this should help too :)

ok so 12 hours later we added 6 lbs of pea gravel to 4 beds and brought them up higher, i love this stuff but man its heavy! now, 12 hours after that, being 24 hours after last reading i took a new reading. water is nice n clear now, and plants have perked up and still pumping nonstop.
