Just went to sign in to the site and as usual the banner add came across the top of the page and I wondered if the add was appropriate for the site or if the administration has any control over what is advertised if you are not signed in.

VIEW 1000 ASIAN WOMEN with lots of photos of very nice looking young ladies.

I am sure this may be fine to some but I have always believed that this is a family site which is accessable to all ages.

Adverts on the site are controlled by Google and only visible when not logged in. The way google ads work, is that they display adverts they think you will be interested in based on your browsing and searching history. Google loves to collect data and they use it to display advertising they think you will be interested in.

Hence all the adverts I see tend to be aquaponics, or car, or gumtree, or realestate related, though there are also a fair few other random ads thrown into the mix as well. I've never seen anything like what you have mentioned though. If you see it again can you please grab a screen capture of it? There should certainly be no objectionable content showing up..

Have you perhaps been googling holidays in Asia and they have drawn a random advert related to Asia? :dontknow:

I wasn't suggesting anything dark, or like that, sorry....

But no I get little control, however if people see objectionable adverts, I'd like to know about it, because things are meant to be squeaky clean around here... :)

This will not come up for children, only people who have been searching for 1000 asian women or other porn.

You probably would have been better off not posting this, now you have exposed habits im sure you wanted to keep secret.

I often see ads in forum that I always got irritated. I guess it is something that cannot be removed and the solution I see is that installing software that can block ads.

Only thing is, that if you block all the adverts, then the person supplying the forum gets no return for running the forum..

Simple answer on here is to be a logged in member, when you're logged in you see no adverts, you only see an advert when you hit the login page at the start, that's not too hard to deal with.

I wouldn't object to 1000 women being displayed on a banner (especially if they are cute, like CC said) :) .

To be politically correct can you organise males for the ladies.

There again this might offend those who favour same sex, so can we also have two symbols added to the gender, as in male/male and female/female? Or for those who are bi-sexual perhaps two banners.

That wouldn't work on the gender as you would be logged in so wouldn't see the ads.
Maybe when someone clicks login a popup should appear asking to click on their preference :P

That being said, if you had a gender preference, google probably already knows. Perhaps closeted senators should rethink their voting policies. It is the closeted ones that do the most harm to gay rights policies.
