Wow now where talkin
Ball valves in any size you want
I was thinking pipe fittings like Y or X or manifolds with multiple out lets, but imagine a manifold with a ball valve on each outlet, that would reduce friction loss by taking connections out of the system.

The honor for those bearings goes to a couple of guys on thingiverse.com. I just took the .stl files and printed them. The box devils I designed myself, but sure somebody else already did that too (or I might have seem them somewhere, at sometime in my life, and totally forgot about it, now it popped up?).

Generally I design in SU, with the help of a lot of usable plugins. The gears can be designed in Sketchup, with the help of these plugins (makes life sooo much easier). You need a helix plugin, plugin for coils, warping etc. There is a lot of free stuff around for SU that makes it a very versatile program.

I fool around with it for about 2 years now, sometimes not doing anything for months.

Noop! But it probably is possible to do.

I'm already at the point of building myself a newer 3D printer, with a much larger volume and even finer resolution. Have to think about it a bit longer. So much to do, so little time.

It should be possible to do such a thing, depends on the total volume of the object and wether it can be printed in one go. Go, knock yourself out and design one! :)
