we were given a solar hot water system yesterday :D It is a concept design piece that has been taken off the market because it doesn't meet some appropriate standards. This particular one has an intermittent leak, and operates as a low pressure system. It's just under 2m long and 1m wide, with a moulded plastic casing.

A friend who installs solar heaters for pools and such says it will be perfect for winter use and fishtanks

Give it a google. And if it has copper you can allways use stainless steel pipe to transfer the heat. Not as effective but every little bit helps. :D

I found one website on it. Even the manufacturer doesn't have it on their site because it's been discontinued.
Plenty of time to find out though.

Can beat that. Circular saw guide didn't retract and I sat it on the floor. The new just laid a week before floor. It cut like butter as well. :(

Very cool. I got an overhead projector the other day. And when the other half is not looking I'm going to pull a LCD monitor apart and build a digital projector. Want to see how the xbox game look like in real size.

Thats a nice regen blower, nothing like as economically priced over here.
Are you sure it`ll run 60 airstones? It seems a little on the optimistic side given the pressure rating.

Only one way to find out.
The place emailed me
40 - 50 comfortably.
and that was for the smaller size. I just guesstmated the 60. Not that I need that many. The aquarium shop uses one and they have 50 odd tanks and spare air.

Just looking at this thread will that blower push air to the depth you want 9 kpa in my reading thats about 15 in plenty for aquariams
