cool, so you can go straight to the diploma. I'm pretty sure the diploma only runs in Pt Lincoln though.

If there's a short course or even something that can be done part time and it's in Adelaide I'd be interested too. Have to be more fun than the two years part time I've just spent getting Certificate IV in Front Line Management (although my work paid for it :)

Or even a distance education type course

Does a cert III in investigative services count as an entry qualification? I have one of those. LOL :)

Actually it was a cert IV.

Ok so then make it Steve -AP,PI,PT,CT,IM,RM,McG.

Well, if having a cert IV and having worked in the field makes me a PI then i guess i am.

Steve, did you do your Cert III P.I at The Australian School of Security and Investigations ?

I've been looking into doing that course? Is it worthwhile?

I did it at CHUB, not sure if they still offer it.

Honestly? Surveillance is the most boring thing you can imagine, only did it 3 times  You're tinking, but i can do the crosswords and read a book, yeh, only if you're happy to glance up every 15 seconds. Try and read a book that way

Most of the stuff i did was circumstance investigation, taking statements and typing reports.

But hey, there are heaps of dudes that think surveillance is cool.

The industry has been absolutly flooded with people with a cert IV. Think hard about if its what you want to do. And its not as cool as the tv ads make out :)
