OK, yeah that guy is a bit of a freak, I just did a search on youtube for "Col. Ralph Peters".... Man that guy is crazy, he just wants to kill everyone, kill those in guantanamo bay, kill the US soldier who deserted and then captured in Iraq, kill the person who leaked the info to wikileaks 6 months back.. Scary stuff....

All in all nothing new, the worlds warmongers are just bleating again because someone hung out the laundry, and it was still dirty What do warmongers do when things go wrong?.....Shoot people.
It's such a shame as most (if not all) Americans I have personally met (I spent March of this year in Bangor, Maine and surrounding areas) are great people with good values and most of them realize how the rest of world view them and are not happy with it.

Our problem (The US) is our media is suppose to keep all 3 of our governmental branches in check (google: "Fourth Estate"). What has happened in the last decade or two is our media has become and entertainment establishment. All the mainstream media outlets are basically propagandist mouth pieces of the respective political party. So instead of our journalists breaking down doors and finding out the meat and potatoes issues that we should be informed about... the bastards are reporting on lapel pins, gay marriage, a mosque 4 city blocks away from 9/11 "ground zero" (but if you listen to the talking heads on TV you'd think it was built right on top of the place where the twin towers once stood), and basically inciting as much fear as possible into our society.

Of all the Fox News talking heads that make me want to jump off a bridge... Glenn Beck. Watch anything of his on youtube. He's like an "emo-Hitler," in respect to the way he speaks. Instead of yelling and moving around a bunch... he writes on a chalkboard and cries.

People in the states are finally starting to figure out we're getting screwed. The only issue is the 2 political party system we have in place really makes purging the system hard. Both parties make it next to impossible for a 3rd party to make any kind of attempt at a major political office. Filing fees, registration fees, name petitions, and if you do manage to jump through all the hoops you're not even guaranteed to show up on the ballot.

It is extremely frustrating.

Splinter groups of this can only be a good thing to keep hacker leakers from becoming powerful blackmailers. Small groups who decide what gets leaked and why isn't any different than the status quo.

The technology, which can be embedded in any organisation's sites, will allow whistle-blowers to anonymously leak data to publishers of their choice.

Its founders say it will address problems they had with Wikileaks.

"We felt that Wikileaks was developing in the wrong direction," Mr Domscheit-Berg told BBC News. "There's too much concentration of power in one organisation; too much responsibility; too many bottlenecks; too many resource constraints."

He said that the team did not want the responsibility of deciding what was or was not relevant and what would be good for the organisation as a whole to publish.

"This is the wrong question and should never be asked."

why and who would want to change it? (to control what info is released?????)
Openleaks sounds like what you would set up if you where the CIA/Mossad to try and pretend we are free and open.
