Hi there,
I'm starting out with aquaponics and wanting to call on the experts to make sure I'm getting everything correct!
I've bought a bath tub from the Recycle Centre which I thought would be great for my Fish Pond, but what size GB's can it handle?

I have 3 existing Garden Planter boxes I am wanting to hollow out and place in plastic boxes, I'm not sure if I can get plastic boxes to fit but the size of the Garden Planter Boxes are approx 950x900x450d, but I'd only go as deep at 300.

If I opt for 2 plastic boxes in the one planter box of 400x600x300d which I'll mould together to get one 800x600x300d so at 144 liters.

Bathtub max is approx 370 liters.

Side question: is the depth of the GB impotant?

You can put as many grow beds on as you like. Depth of beds are recommended to be 300mm at a minimum, but can be much deeper giving you more filtration. I have ibc beds 500mm deep

Flood and drain with just a bath tub for a fish tank and no sump will be ok as long as your growbeds are too large and drop the water level too much.
