Hey Simo,
whats the dia of the hole on the side of the bell (just above the crenelations? How is it better than the 6 mm tube one normally uses?

Don't bother to answer that. Found it in your other thread! 25mm elbow! I must say, your siphon looks very neat!

drains straight out, the side port on my bell is just because my GB drain out the side thought another elbow down to the drain pipe. There is no water trap or restriction other than the eblows it should work just draining straight down as the funnel creates all the restriction you need.

Thank you for the reply Simo, i wish i'd research more and found this siphon sooner, it would be much easier to construct afnan's siphon!
