Going to do a new batch up tonight. Just salt and hot water this time. Store bought as some idiot forgot to water the stuff in the dirt garden. :withstupid:

Hi C1, I'm waiting for some rain.....and does the moon come into it? Maybe better to wait until after the 25th.
As everybody knows....it always rains around ANZAC DAY! ! !
What about planting some tomorrow (in soil and watering it)....and the other lot after the 25th; and find out if the later planted garlick will catch up/overtake the one planted today? Wait and see......

Put mine into the ground on Good Friday, watered from the rainwater tank, which is getting low again...

Haven't tried garlic in the AP system, is it worth bothering with?

H.

Get your garlic in now the moon is waning.
There should be enough energy in the corm to start the growing process.
The rain will come soon enough.
Also put your spuds in, and carrots and all other root crops.

left a full bulb of garlic in AP from last years harvest and also planted out 6 cloves a few months ago. they've just started sprouting.

The ones picked from last harvest have dried ans stored very well, am still using them. A guy at reets work grows garlic on his hobby farm and he didnt think they'd do well in the ap as he though they needed a dry period before harvest to keep well. mine worked fine. Go team AP :)
