OK... here's some sample pages from the "book"...

Compiled by a group of people with obvious  aquaponics experience...

Founder Bevan Suits is an industrial designer, writer and video producer with nearly 25 years of exploration of this idea, “sustainable”. He has experience identifying and opening new product market categories.

Associate Suha Keskintepe is in charge of marketing and graphic design. He brings many years of agency experience and Fortune 500 clients.

Associate Dave Radlmann is recognized as one of the premier green builders in the southeast, developing millions of square feet of new properties that define the cutting edge of sustainable development. He has been raising fish for over twenty years.

Beven.. with nearly 25 years of exploration of this idea.... never heard of him...

A graphics designer.... guess they'll build pretty systems...

And Dave the builder..... who apparantly has been raising fish for 20 years.... not sure where, I couldn't find anything about him...

Bandwagon jumpers... get rich.. with the latest fad... online "entrepenuers"....

Steer clear I reckon...

I bought this same guide to AP for $20 online. I agree with Rupe in that it is a very basic primer that would be useful to a brand new person. The guide would be ideal for students or a middle school classroom setting. You can find all the information in this guide on this forum and with a little googling.

Seems like the people here could create an Open Source Book on aquaponics with tons of real world examples. The Forums are great, but they're less organized than a book would be. Would be nice to have a book that goes over experiments that have been done, what's worked, what hasn't, what things we wish someone would test out, etc.

Maybe even just a wiki on this site? Something that would allow us to organize all the questions that get asked (and perhaps delete the threads that have been moved to the wiki to keep this area more clean for off the wall questions).

I could start up a wiki if there's any interest and it would be difficult to do here.

Yeah...he basically compiled information from other people and sold it. Which, hey...a lot of people do that. We just don't like to see people making money off of others hard work with no compensation. At least I dont.
