well, after carefully installing the greenhouse film (before the wind got up) and putting up the shadecloth, I dutifully went off to a four-year olds birthday party, then Alex and I got dressed up to go to his work Christmas party. THEN it rained. :toothy2: 50mm with 40km/hr winds. That certainly tested the film

There are a couple of spots where we need to re-tension the film to stop pooling, and we'll need to get the gutter up above the fish tank fairly soon, or the whole thing will overflow (just yesterday I was thinking I would have to top up the tank  - no need now - but I might have to drain some out)

If we don't get any more rain today, we can get away with the post-party lazies, but we'll have to see.

Have to unload the new timber from the ute today, before we go off to another party (at a local farm, in the paddock which will be good and muddy for the kids to play in!

nah.. absolutely gospel true story....

Ponds with mudskippers dry out big whillies (mini tornados) suck them up into big bubbling clouds, cool, condense and ...

rain fish, without a word of a lie

actually, come to think of it, it's a bit like natures own little AP experiment...

'cept feeding the fish to a bloody big grow bed along with the water.

PS believe it or not the skippers where still alive and gasping for air/water.

Next day pools where full of them

Aint nature amazing
