So thats why you have that huge 10,000L tank!
Pity, I don't think sharks eat duckweed though :D (neighbours cats maybe  )

apparently it has been having heated discussions with another cat in our carport (rowdy buggers) and we didn't realise where it came from (other side of the house). Now we know :evil5:

That was fun, watching all the conspiracies hatching and growing!

Yes, I've been watching you all, you can't get away with anything you know!
:lurk:

What I have really been doing is working hard on the system, before the fish get here (HSM mode)

The plumbing from the pump is all finished. Nearly all the beds are plumbed TO. The drains will get added this afternoon. The blue drums will get all their siphons this afternoon. The sump needs to get some sand underneath it to level the position. The towers are up. Four will have gravel, four will have coco peat.

thank you (bobs to curtsey)

The blue drums are all over the place, they just keep getting in the way at the moment! I'll fit all the siphons today and put them in their proper place then.

The ball valves will go down to the blue drums, just not fully piped yet. It will be reduced to 19mm fittings a bit further down stream. They're all off now, so I can run one grow bed as necessary and add them on as the fish grow.

Nice thinking, so pumped (and timered) seperately to towers??

Forgotten whether the towers are going to be continuous, gravoty drain or not?
