I need some expert advise.
I have been told it is azolla but after comparing to some other photos on this forum I think it may be duckweed.
What do you guys think?

Duckweed. Lemna minor, specifically.

Looks like duckweed to me. Azolla is bigger and fluffier.

yeah it is a drinking glass.
I rang a nursery and asked if they had any duckweed. The guy said he had azolla but when I asked him about it and the difference to duckweed he couldnt really tell me, but said if i wanted some to drop by and he would give me a handfull.
Once getting it and looking at some other pictures on forum is what made me think it might be duckweed.
I have ordered some of ebay anyway so will compare once I get that lot.
Thanks for help.
