Can you have too much worm tea in an aquaponics system? Also is worm tea okay for a DWC system, or does worm tea contain solids?

if you are refering to the liquid from the drain from the worm bed then i reckon its harmless. if you brew it like compost tes then i would strain out most of the solids first.

Recommended levels are 1 part concentrate from worm farm to 9 parts water applied to plants. It should the appear the colour of tea.

The leachate that drains form the bottom of the worm bed... isn't worm tea...

Make your worm tea from the castings... and dilute to 1:10 as Faye said...

Then what is it?
And is it any good?
Because I have been diluting it 1:10 and putting it on the garden for the last 5 years.

Granted It has to trickle through 3 layers of worm castings and whatever else resides in the lower levels, I have only emptied the worm farm once in the last 5 years.

Cheers

EDIT to add: If I need to make tea out of the castings, I take it I just steep the worm castings in water, keeping it strong for ease of storage and then diluting it 1:10 when needed. So there must be a ratio of castings to water, weight:weight or volume:volume?

And also I often wondered about adding sugar to the stored worm tea as a way of keeping the bacteria alive and vigorous if it is going to be stored for any length of time, never got around to it though as I just use the leachate straight away
