My breeders just released their first fry this afternoon. I am not home, but my wife told me they are about the size of two grains of rice. Can't wait to get home to see.

yea, Helo,

Way cool on the first batch.......

You want to have your wife scoop them out asap, and put them in a 2gal to 5gal bucket with a air stone. Then each week's worth of fry, put in a new bucket, till the fry are about 1" long,
then they can be put in a bigger Tank or 55gal barrel.

If you leave the fry in the tank, when they get big enough, they will eat the next batches of newly released fry.

You also want to remove them, because if you don't have a good screen on your outflow in the main tank, a lot of the fry will be sucked out into your grow beds, and screens like that need cleaning every day, so it's best to get them out and into a smaller container asap.
