Hooray I've made it to 300!!!
First I'll answer all the questions.
Yes Jay I have the transplanted ones from the original sys and have just added another punnet, again...
Back to the update.
I've taken Gabes advice and pulled all the brassicas to get rid of the fn moths. Replanted the bare patches with beets, celery and capsicums. Strawberries going well but rodents have been pinching them... Baits now baited.
Lettuce and leeks also going well but that's about it.
Tommies struggling, chard stagnating, melons and squash surviving.
Fish wise, the trout are the saving grace, pulling a couple each weekend. They are still feeding well in the morn and for the 25 fish They've just finished 7.5 kg of 7mm pellets, and are looking very healthy, always letting me know they are still there when they see me with an over eager leap out of the water. Water temp still climbing and is 25 c most afternoons now. I'm not getting the flesh coloration from the pellets which although doesn't alter the taste, it does slightly diminish the bragging, I mean presentation of the fish...
Silver flings are feeding well but have noticed flashing and have slowly brought salt level to 6ppt and they are still flashing, what to do, anyone?
We have the fish tank area looking better added some plants and the canopy of the carob is being trained. Once we get a table and chairs out there it will be a nice entertaining area.
I've finally started the footing for the ibc gb and hope to have the mini expansion plumbed in by Xmas.
I have also begun to mineralise the solids to add back to the system in an attempt to stimulate growth. The u beaut base cone in the filter is working well.
Hopefully the legendary ap growth will kick in soon.
