I will pop in at TradeLink today - the stuff they told me about is used on pools (even under water, so that should do the trick for you (i hope)

Week 12 (a bit delayed)

The fish are good, we weighed 2 the other day, they were 120g and about 16cm long (did I post this already  )

The purple king beans are about 7cm long and starting to fatten up and get interesting purple streaks on them :)
The snake beans are about 12cm, but still thin.
The blue lake beans are about 3cm long.
The slenderette bush beans are about 6cm long and starting to fatten too.

The peas don't seem to be getting enough sun (planted in between the beans) and haven't started flowering yet.

The red cabbage is veeery sloooow growing, but starting to get along.

The michili cabbage has all been lost to mites, so the fish got the stumps

The lettuce is good. The silverbeet and chard are good. The beetroot and carrots are too.

The tomatoes are about 30cm tall, but we've had very strong winds this week so they all have a bit of wind shear going. Some are looking at flowering as a viable future option

The eggplants have flower buds.

Not sure what's happened to the chilli plants :?

The parsley seeds have finally sprouted, but because they took so long about it I also put in some seedlings, these are good. Should have LOTS of parsley soon :)

The corn is growing, but the germination rates have been poor.

The burpless cucumber is flowering and I need to put up some mesh for them to climb.

We had two lots of friends around today to look at the system.

I will go get some more duckweed this week to top up the bathtubs.

Still need to find some leak sealing stuff :?

The purple ones are also called magic beans... they turn green while you cook them
